“Family Joy Box Project” is a heartwarming collaborative effort by Be the Church, Bridge City Church, and Sharing Well dedicated to ensuring that families can experience the joy of Christmas.
This Christmas, we’re putting joy in a box. Each Joy Box includes everything a family needs for a meaningful Christmas. Gifts for the kids, wrapping paper and bows, a food certificate, and a few surprise touches of hope. We’re partnering with local families who are facing tough seasons, reminding them they’re not forgotten. Your giving helps us share warmth, dignity, and Christmas joy, one box at a time. Our goal is to reach at least 20+ families.
$75 provides Christmas for one child.
$250 provides Christmas for a family.
$100 provides Christmas dinner.

A Story of Hope and Joy
I'm a parent of three children, one of whom is 18. I'm a survivor of domestic violence and live with PTSD. Since a significant incident in November 2019, which led me to leave the relationship, I haven’t been able to work a full-time job. During the holidays, I’ve struggled to provide gifts for my kids, as every bit of my income goes toward bills.
With the support of the community and generous donations, Sharing Well was able to provide Christmas gifts for this family. The gifts were carefully chosen to bring smiles to the faces of the kids who had experienced so much loss in a short period. From toys that sparked laughter to warm clothing that provided comfort, the carefully curated gifts aimed to make the holiday season a little brighter.
